京都市の太秦の工房にて『工房見学・金彩工芸体験』アクティビティの提供をさせていただいています。「三宅工芸」は、京友禅の伝統工芸士である三宅信実氏（金彩手描き部）が創業した手描き掛けの工房。 白生地の染色から仕上げまでを一手に担う工房で、20近い工程の中から目玉となる5つの工程の実演を見学できる。 生地を美しく華やかに彩る金やパールを施す工程も見学できる。 新設されたギャラリーでは、きらびやかな演出に加え、世界的な洋画の依頼を受けて制作したコラボレーションアートも鑑賞できます。

Miyake Kogei” in Ukyo-ku, Kyoto is a hand-painted kake workshop founded by Mr. Nobumi Miyake, a traditional craftsman of Kyo-Yuzen (Hand Drawing Division, Kinsai). Observe a demonstration of 5 highlight processes from nearly 20 processes at a single workshop that is responsible for everything from dyeing to finishing white fabrics. You can also observe the process of applying gold and pearls, which beautifully and gorgeously decorate the fabric. At the newly established gallery, in addition to the glittering effects, you can appreciate collaborative art produced at the request of world-renowned foreign films.
